We'll employ Harper Lee's To Kill A Mockingbird as a structural model upon which to base our own books, though keep in mind that Lee's structure is simply one possibility. We'll also take examples from more contemporary novels such as Alice Sebold's The Lovely Bones and Elizabeth Strout's Olive Kitteridge.
