Join Dr. De'Andrea Matthews on September 12, 2015 as she discusses "Crafting Memorable Characters". This session will take a closer look at the elements that create a three-dimensional character, the action that defines those characters, and how you as a writer can get to know your characters best through the character interview.ABOUT THE GUEST SPEAKERDr. De'Andrea Matthews, commonly known as Dr. Dee, is an author, educator, and public speaker. Under the pen name D. C. Wiggins, she is the author of Their Darkest Hour and Almost Doesn't Count. Dr. Dee has been an educator for 18 years, with experience at both public and private institutions. She has taught creative writing courses to middle school and high school students through various outreach programs. She hold a Doctorate in Religious Education, Masters in Theology, and Bachelor of Science in African-American Studies with a minor in Children's Literature. Dr. Dee is committed to helping you grow spiritually and excel professionally.
