Live Reading, Master Class, Author Fair from #RochesterWriters

Join us on Saturday, November 11, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon in Downtown Rochester. In this Personal Essay Writing Master Class with Lev Raphael, you'll be introduced to different kinds of personal essays, you'll read and discuss some prime examples, learn about how to submit your work for publication, and do some in-class writing to share with the group. Please join Rochester Writers for a Live Reading on Tuesday, November 7, at 8:00 p.m. on Facebook to hear the winners of the 2022 Holiday Brevity Writing Contest. Poetry, Flash Fiction, and Essay. Nine writers will read their winning entry and we'll announce the Best of Show at the end of the live reading. Rochester Writers will have a table at the Holiday Expo on Monday, November 13, 2023 at the Royal Park Hotel from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. It's a wonderful chance to meet local business owners, peruse their products, and do some holiday shopping. And of course, be sure to find the Rochester Writers' table and say hello to our three authors: Robert A. Lytle, Joan Dee Wilson, and J.P. Gebbie. The Rochester Author Fair is on Saturday, November 25, from 10 AM to 3 PM at the Rochester Hills Public Library. It features a mix of traditionally published and indie published authors from a variety of genres. Twenty authors will discuss their books, share their love of writing, and to sign copies of their books. This will be a wonderful holiday shopping opportunity.
