Brian Klems & Chuck Sambuchino here from Writing Day Workshops -- touching base with our Michigan writer friends. Two quick important things:
1. Our 2025 in-person Michigan Writing Workshop conference date is now set! We will be back in Novi (Detroit suburbs) on Saturday, May 3, 2025. All details are laid out below in this email and on the MWW website. We are still building an online registration portal, so for now, if you want to register early and secure your spot, simply reply to this email and say you're interested in attending. We will respond with registration materials immediately. We are excited about our growing agent & editor faculty, and excited to help writers take a huge step in 2025 toward getting their books published!
We are planning many 2025 conferences, and you can see the entire list of in-person and online 2025 events here.
2. Writing Day Workshops, our organization that plans the Michigan Writing Workshop, will be launching a newsletter this fall -- bringing you valuable information on new literary agents seeking submissions, publishing opportunities, writing & query tips, how to promote your books, and much more. Look for our new Writing Day Workshops newsletter in the weeks to come. In the meantime, connect with the Michigan Writing Workshop on Twitter/X, Instagram, and Facebook.

The in-person 2025 Michigan Writing Workshop is a one-day writers conference with classes, as well as literary agents & editors in attendance meeting writers one-on-one. Our conference is on Saturday, May 3, 2025, in Novi (Detroit suburbs). After a successful return in 2023 and 2024, we are happy to be back in 2025.
To register: If you want to sign up for this or any WDW conference, all you have to do is email me back and let me know. That's it. At that point, I will reply and send you registration instructions ASAP.
This Michigan conference currently has 5 agents & editors attending the event, and that number will absolutely grow.
If you're instead interested in an online conference, we coordinate one of those each month. Each has 30-40 attending agents, and you can see the full event list here. (Our next online event is the Online Writing Workshop of Chicago on Dec. 6-7, 2024.)
Our Writing Day Workshops conferences draw great writing talent and amazing literary agents. We have many, many success stories listed where writers have signed with agents at our conferences.
The Michigan WW website addresses pricing, details, location, attending agents, class schedules for May 3, and more. That said, we are happy to address any questions you have. Again, if you want to register for the 2025 MWW event, just respond to this email and let us know.
Our writers conference events rely on word-of-mouth from attendees and area writers. Any word-spreading you do about the conference is appreciated and valuable. Thank you for considering telling friends and regional writing groups. Here is a Twitter/X post, Facebook post, and Instagram image you can share if you like. And look for our first Writing Day Workshops newsletter before the end of the year!
Thanks!
