On Saturday, October 20, 1:00 - 2:30 Karen Dionne, author of The Marsh King's Daughter (2018 Winner of the Barry Award for Best Novel at Bouchercon) will be joining Michigan Sisters in Crime for an afternoon discussion titled "Never Give Up."
In this moderated discussion, Karen will talk about the journey to the success of her latest international best-selling novel, including pre and post-deal activities. Karen was recently honored at Bouchercon with the Barry Award for Best Novel, which was pitted against the likes of Michael Connelly, Philip Kerr, Steve Hamilton, Don Winslow, and Anthony Horowitz. As a Michigan native, Mrs. Dionne is recognized as a Humanities Scholar by the Michigan Humanities Council for her work and contributions to helping other writers as the co-founder of Backspace, an online writing community
