The 2016 Hurston/Wright Award for College Writers New Deadline: March 21st
If you are an undergraduate or graduate fiction writer or poet currently enrolled full-time, we invite you to submit your work to the Hurston/Wright Foundation for the annual College Writers Award for Black college writers. We are accepting submissions in the categories of fiction and poetry from January 2nd until March 21st. For 25 years the foundation has worked to identify emerging writers. Many of the recipients of the Hurston/Wright Award for College Writers have become celebrated novelists and poets. Click here for submission guidelines and procedures.
