Kelly Greene hails from Detroit, MI. He noticed a gift for writing while attending
Detroit Lutheran West High School. When he wasn't involved in football or
wrestling, he spent time writing poetry. Poetry later gave way to lengthy personal
notes. Years later after losing his Job at American Axle where he worked 14yrs, he
rekindled his passion for writing. While getting his degree in computer electronics
from ITT Tech, his talent for writing was discovered by his composition instructor
Ruth Klayman. She immediately suggested that he go into professional writing.
Shortly thereafter he started the blog hollaifyouhearme.com where he writes
about his love for the City of Detroit. He has also just launched his new site
iamkellygreene.com
He is a member of the Motown Writers Network and the Detroit Chapter of the
National Association of Black Journalists (DC- NABJ). He was also given the Titan
Award by the Motown Writer's Network in 2012. Currently Blogging for Preachers
of Detroit cast member Bishop Corletta J. Vaughn.Twitter: @KellyGLive72
