Greetings! Come see what's brewing among local entrepreneurs at TechTown's first Startup SOUP on Friday, Aug. 3. Space is limited, so secure your spot today! The new pitch competition is designed to help entrepreneurs grow their businesses through microfunding. Presenting finalists will each have up to five minutes to pitch their business and field questions from attendees, who will then evaluate finalists over a hearty bowl of soup before voting for their favorite. Presenting finalists are: Marlo Rencher, Good Sweat, Detroit Thiago Olson, Protean, Detroit Jordan Silverman, Star Toilet Paper, Ann Arbor Brandon Knight, Rhiza Food Co., Highland Park Startup SOUP will be held at 5:30 p.m., Friday, Aug. 3, at 2051 Rosa Parks Blvd., Detroit.
