Poetry, Pages & Scribes - 5th Anniversary Show

Have you experienced Poetry, Pages & Scribes yet?  No more excuses make it to the 5th Anniversary Show on Thursday, August 5th at 6:30pm.

This 5th Anniversary of Poetry Pages & Scribes will feature poets Heather Ann Schmidt and One Single Rose.

Heather Ann Schmidt is an adjunct professor at Oakland Community College and teaches creative writing at the Pontiac Creative Arts Center. She edits tinfoildresses, a poetry journal. Her poems can be found in various online and print journals. Heather's books include Njaa, Channeling Isadora Duncan, The Bat's Lovesong: American Haiku and The Owl & the Muse: Collected Tanka. She has a full collection of poems forthcoming from Village Green Press.

Rosemarie Wilson, a/k/a One Single Rose, is an award-winning poet, writer, advice columnist, singer and staunch advocate of integrity and fidelity. Her insistence that every day presents an opportunity to live, learn and love positively allows her to motivate others when life throws curves at our existence. Since the March, 2009 release of her self-published collection of poetry, One Single Rose has been dubbed an inspirational poet.

Poetry, Pages & Scribes is a platform for poets, storytellers and musicians to share their works and the inspiration behind them in an intimate setting. Hosted by Ber-Henda Williams with DJ L Boog.
