Happenings

1/14:  MIGHTY BE OUR POWERS
Author, Activist, and Heroine Leymah Gboweee

FIRST ACTION: THE WRITING REVOLUTION:
2012 is a 5 year and a "5" energy favors writers and publishers. I have been a spiritual activist for decades and now the fire is so hot I can't keep still it's time to "do". I must channel this fire a be an agent for change. Let's start a revolution, a writing revolution. Mighty be our powers sis*Star (a word coined by Dr. Makeeba Ellington)
MIGHTY BE OUR POWERS is a book written by Leymah Gboweee she realized that it is women who bear the greatest burden in prolonged conflicts. She began organizing Christian and Muslim women to demonstrate together, founding Liberian Mass Action for Peace and launching protests and a sex strike. Gbowee's part in helping to oust the Liberian Leader, Charles Taylor was featured in the documentary Pray the Devil Back to Hell. She is a recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, 2011. I encountered her on PBS this week and haven't been able to sleep since the encounter.
She said what my soul knows and has known for years, the power of praying women is "unstoppable". I invite praying sisters to join in prayer and action (letter writing)
