Can you believe that there is only one week left to NaNoWriMo? How is your novel coming along? How is your team doing in the Championships?If you are on track or ahead, that's great! Keep it up! If you're behind, you know what? There's still time. Write at least one more word. And tomorrow? Write at least one more. I have a wallpaper on my phone that reads "NO MORE ZERO DAYS" to remind me to do something, anything, toward my goal every day, even if it's just one word. One is more than none. You've got this!
Did you know that attending write-ins and big events helps with your word count? We still have awesome write-ins on the calendar and have a few more big events coming up. One of them is our Boot Camp event tomorrow. Take notice, however, that we've had some last minute changes for the event venue and time: Come join us instead at Eos Cafe, 30625 Jefferson Ave, St Clair Shores, MI 48082 from 11am-6pm! All NaNo writers at this event will be provided drip coffee, tea, and/or fountain drinks on NaNoWriMotown! In the past, we said bring treats to share, but as this is a cafe with a full menu (including snacks, baked goods, and sandwiches), we'll support their business instead.
There is still free parking! If the lot is full, there is street parking (free!) on the surrounding streets. There are still going to be SO MANY WARS, raffle prizes, swag, and WORDS!
