In the News General Motors Company : GM Vehicles Help Make Movie Magic The Great Lakes State passes five-year incentive program - Photomart University Filmmakers Hopeful Despite Movie Cap - Fox Detroit     GR Firm goes global Shellenberg and Evers - GR Accounting firm consults with Alaska Film Incentives The Grand Rapids, Michigan CPA firm of Schellenberg & Evers is completing a consulting engagement to formulate, design and implement a set of agreed upon procedures to administer the Alaska film credit program. These comprehensive mandatory procedures will clarify and streamline the processing of film credits for Alaska. It included putting on a training seminar for Alaska CPAs in January. Part of the process consists of standardized coding that will track expenses from entry to verification by the CPA directly to the final Alaska reporting forms. The firm hopes to share this process with other incentive states and countries. Schellenberg & Evers has worked on over 40 film credits to date.   Michigan Film Office Advisory Council Meeting The Michigan Film Office Advisory Council will meet from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday, March 9, 2012 at the Uptown Palladium 12, 3rd Floor Theater 8, 250 N.
