Plowshares Theatre Company has found a home.
Greetings!

We have some great news we wanted you to know first!!

After "wandering in the wilderness" for not quite 40 years, we have entered into a working relationship with the Arts League of Michigan to develop the third floor of the Virgil H. Carr Cultural Arts Center. The floor will house a 400-seat state-of-the art performing venue with flexible and intimate seating . Plowshares will be one of a few organizations using the facility as an artistic home!

This is game-changing news. We moved more often then the Hebrews in the Old Testament and finally we can see a future where we enter into the promised land. If you want to a part of that future consider joining Plowshares' Home Team. This is a group of volunteers interested in helping us develop audience and plan fundraising events. Our first informational meeting will be held on Martin Luther King Day (January 16, 2012). We think that's appropriate. If you're interested, click here and sign up.

But before you celebrate the New Year, I wanted to quickly remind you to please make a gift to Plowshares and help us raise $15,000 by Saturday night. We've got $8,000 to go and anything you can give would really help make the difference.

If you haven't already done so, please consider making a year-end gift at $500, $250, or $100 level by December 31, 2011.

We've almost reached our goal but we need to finish strong!! So won't you help by making an online donation? Or, if you would prefer to do it via the mail, you can download a form by clicking here. Just postmark it by 12/31/11. Thanks!

Wishing you a wonderful New Year!

Thank you,
