Greetings!
Who is Pee Dee?

In this week's Spotlight we feature "Whoo Is Pee Dee?"

Kay Mixson-JenkinsFollow the story of a boy named Colt who thinks his Mommy does not love him anymore because she never smiles or wants to play.

Colt knows that Pee Dee is to blame and he sets out to stop him. Colt will soon discover that Pee Dee is not a person but a disease.

Through the imagination of a child and his panda bear he will come to understand Parkinsons Disease and learn how he can help his Mommy who has been diagnosed with it.

Filled with references for both parents and children, this book gives parents a tool to sit down and explain a devastating disease in a loving manner that will ease a young child's fear.
