"Sense of Place in the Arts" Grant Workshop to be Held Aug 3
A free grant workshop will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 3 at 8:30am at the Arts Council office to walk potential applicants through the grant application process for those interested in the City of Lansing's Sense of Place in the Arts Grant ProgramThe workshop is free, but an RSVP via email to email@example.com is required.
Funded by the City of Lansing, the Sense of Place in the Arts Grant Program supports arts and cultural projects in order to drive community revitalization and cultural economic development in Lansing. Grants will range from $5,000 to $50,000 and projects must be held between Oct. 1, 2011 and June 30, 2012.
Application packets are available at the Arts Council of Greater Lansing office, located at 1208 Turner Street in Lansing, or they can be downloaded at www.lansingarts.org, under the Resources section.
