Greetings!  

Hear guest speakers, the Honorable Jennifer Granholm, former Governor of the State of Michigan and Dan Mulhern radio show host, co-authors of "A Governor's Story, The Fight for Jobs and America's Economic Future."  Saturday October 29th noon until 2:00 p.m. at the Michigan International Books Festival  

 

The economic hurt that happened across America happened first, and most brutally, in America 's manufacturing heartland: Michigan . Jennifer Granholm, the state's first female governor, tells how one state struggled and pioneered ways out of a perfect economic storm.

 

Jennifer M. Granholm was elected governor of Michigan in 2002 and re-elected in 2006. She was born in Vancouver, Canada , grew up in California , and is an honors graduate of both the University of California at Berkeley and Harvard Law School . She is a regular panelist on Meet the Press .

 

Dan Mulhern , graduate of Yale and Harvard Law School, is an expert in leadership development and practice. His radio show Everyday Leadership: Making Work Work is broadcast on the Michigan Talk Network.
