Plowshares Theatre Company will hold the final round of it's 2011-2012 open auditions this coming Friday, August 26th, 2011, from 4pm until 9pm. LOCATION: University of Michigan, Detroit Center, 3663 Woodward Ave. Suite 150, Detroit MI 48201.
REQUIREMENTS: Bring a current headshot and resume. Be prepared to do cold readings from read from the following shows: RUINED (4 Black Women, 7 Black Men) and GEM OF THE OCEAN (2 Black Women, 4 Black Men, 1 White Man).
DESCRIPTION: Plowshares Theatre Company (PTC) is recognized as Michigan's only professional African American theatre company. For more than 20 years, Plowshares has been the alternative voice in metro Detroit's performing arts community. A theatre that offers a true off-Broadway experience, with the kind of entertaining, and diverse productions that has made it a favorite among discerning patrons. Plowshares is an urban theatre with a distinctly Detroit style.
