Beth Spencer is an eating disorder survivor who struggled for decades with body image issues. Two years ago Beth stepped off the scale and the diet-roller coaster and began learning how to eat normally and accept her body at its "natural" weight. While working through her food/body issues, she wrote a cookbook,Pea Soup: Recipes for Body, Mind, and Spirit from a
"Kitchen Table Gourmet," a collection of her favorite recipes-recipes for foods that for years she thought she couldn't eat as part of everyday meals-foods that were on her "forbidden food" list-foods she'd happily invited back into her daily life. From appetizers to desserts and everything in between, Spencer's Pea Soup... brims with wonderful, wholesome recipes-quick and easy recipes as well as classic recipes that require a little more time (and flour) on the hands, yet yield delicious and joyous results.
