To kick off 2012, the Library is very excited to work with organizations with a shared vision of supporting our community to provide a better variety and quality of library services. As you read this month's newsletter, you will see our expanded focus on issues most important to you, including health, investments, and entertainment. Scrapbook for a Cause: January 28th (9am-Midnight) Get your photos, stickers, and cardstock ready - the Library is hosting 15 hours of scrapbooking fun with Creative Memories consultant, Mary Gantt. Lunch, dinner, refreshments, demonstrations, and door prizes are available for a donation of $50 for 1 scrapper to enjoy a 6 foot table or $40 for 2 scrappers to share a 6 foot table. All proceeds to support future Youth Programming events. Call (248) 869-7204 to register. |

Listen @ The Library Starting February 5, PNC Bank, the Chamber Music Society of Detroit, and the Library will present a series of free family concerts performed by internationally acclaimed artists. These performances will be informal and interactive, introducing audiences to chamber music in an entertaining way. Learn More. |
