Land Strike

In this week's Spotlight we feature "Land Strike" , byKen Bass.

Landstrike is the gripping story of Hurricane Nicole from its birth in the Atlantic Ocean to its catastrophic rampage up New York Citys Hudson River. It is also an enthralling account of the horrific storms aftermath as residents, suddenly isolated from the world without electricity, food, water and even communications try to survive in Stone Age conditions!

Told in riveting detail, Landstrike is so true to life that readers will need to remind themselves that what they are reading isnt true! Landstrike is mesmerizing, filled with fascinating characters and spellbinding events not easily forgotten.

Kenneth Bass
Ken Bass developed a lifetime love of disaster stories from the moment he read Disaster at Johnstown: The Great Flood as a fourth grader growing up in Columbia, SC. After attending Yale and Georgetown Law School, Ken practiced law for over 20 years before deciding to pursue his passion for writing.

Having read every disaster book he could get his hands on, the first book Ken decided to write is the compelling story of the devastation New York City might suffer at the hands of a major hurricane.

When hes not writing, Ken coaches his sons soccer teams, closely follows the weather and blogs on politics and life at xcurmudgeon.blogspot.com.
