A bit of bubbly, a lot of fashion and great community support will flow this Thurs. Feb. 23rd, 5 p.m. -- 8 p.m., at the Peacock Room to help IO match a $25,000 grant from Hollywood filmmaker Bob Shaye.
Ten dollars from the sale of each Detroit Snob glam tee-shirt during SONNETS, SHOPPING & CHAMPAGNE and 10% of all sales at the Peacock Room on Feb. 23rd will benefit IO.

Celebrated fiber and quilt artist Carole Harris will also have a selection of her scarves available, with 15% of proceeds going to IO. "You never know what will spark a child. I started with piano, then writing, and finally I found my voice in textile based art,'' said Harris, whose work has been featured nationally and internationally.

Also at the event, IO founder and Terry Blackhawk will debut her latest poetry collection, The Light Between and donate her sales to the cause.
