Where Hip Hop Meets Scripture

We are pleased to invite you to "Where Hip Hop Meets Scripture a youth on hip hop and spirituality to be held on February 18, 2012 from 12p.m.-5p.m. Youth ages 13-18 will participate in workshops and classes lead by some of Detroits Legends and Pioneers in Hip Hop culture. 


 

Workshop Titles:

Beat Street: Music Production 101 Lyrical Lounge: 16 bars and Beyond facilitated by Dj Sicari and Khari Kimani Turner. 

B Boy and Boy Girl Swag: How Hip-Hop influences Fashion faciltated by Raquel Luxor from Downtown 81


Break it Down/Dance Workshop: From the Streets to the World! Facilitated by Benito Vasquez.


There workshops are free but you must register HERE!  Lunch will be provided.
