All of us at WDET are excited to be partnering with StoryCorps to welcome their Mobile Booth to Detroit and Dearborn! Join us the morning of July 9th at the Carr Center in Detroit's Paradise Valley for our Opening Day celebration.  Special guests will include: Wayne State University President Allan Gilmour and Detroit jazz legend Marcus Belgrave.

Plus, this week marks the 30th anniversary of the 1982 death of Chinese-American Vincent Chin, who died after being bludgeoned by two white Chrysler autoworkers in Detroit.
