 Bonnie Jo Campbell ~ Author "Once upon a River" Wednesday, April 4 at 4:00 pm and 6:30 pm Bonnie Jo Campbell's book, "Once upon a River" has been called the 21st century's Huck Finn. New York Times said "It is, rather, an excellent American parable about the consequences of our favorite ideal, freedom." It made NPR's Top Five Fiction picks for 2011. And Bonnie Jo is a marvelous story teller, has special advice for writers, and keeps readers reading. Books for sale and signing. Cromaine Library in the Village. Register online.  Hunger Is No Game! Drop your non-perishable food items off until April 30 at Cromaine in the Village or the Crossroads Branch, as part of Livingston Reads 2012. All six Livingston County libraries will be collecting food items for Gleaners Food Bank. Collect the most for Cromaine! Show how generous our community is to others! Thank you! |
