Michigan Association for Female Entrepreneurs will host the 2012 Women Entrepreneurs Conference on Saturday, November 17, 2012 from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm at Lawrence Tech University in Southfield, Michigan.

Held during Global Entrepreneurship Week, the 2012 Women Entrepreneurs Conference is a full-day business event geared toward providing women entrepreneurs with timely, practical information, knowledge, resources and tools to build and grow their business to the next level. The theme for this year's event isWomen Entrepreneurs: Drivers of the New Economy.

The conference kicks off with a morning keynote address from Jane Hight McMurry, author of Navigating the Lipstick Jungle: Go from Plain Jane to Getting What You Want, Need, and Deserve!

During the full-day event, attendees will be immersed in a high-impact program featuring a series of speakers, breakout sessions, small group coaching labs, interactive networking opportunities, and a panel discussion featuring prominent female entrepreneurs from across Michigan.

"We are excited to provide a forum where women entrepreneurs can learn, grow, and connect," said Tonya McNeal-Weary, Executive Director and Founder of Michigan Association for Female Entrepreneurs. "Our goal is to foster the economic empowerment of women entrepreneurs across the state by providing them with the tools and resources to help them succeed," she added.

Conference attendees are encouraged to wear something pink in support of this year's designated Charity of Choice, the Komen Detroit Race for the Cure®. A portion of the proceeds raised at the conference will benefit local breast cancer programs.

Tickets are $65 if purchased by November 10th, $75 after November 10th and $85 at the door.
