 Danielle McGuire is a writer and Assistant Professor in the History Department at Wayne State University. Her book, At the Dark End of the street; Black Women, Rape and Resistance- A New History of the Civil Rights Movement from Rosa Parks to the Rise of Black Power is a
controversial, moving, and courageous book.
This event is co-sponsored with The Diversity Task Force, a sponsored group of the Community House.

The Book Beat will sell books for signing.
