Downtown Sketch Walk
Bring your sketch pad and get ready to sketch sculptures and architectural details in and around the downtown area guided by local artist Cynthia Hagedorn! Enjoy learning some local history as you sketch. No experience necessary! The group will meet at the sculpture outside the library and travel through Centennial Park and then downtown. Yoga @ the Library
Learn the foundations of a yoga practice in this mindful, fluid vinyasa flowing class with attention to the breath. Excellent for developing flexibility, core strength, focus, balance, muscular strength and stress reduction. Appropriate for students of all levels as modifications and embellishments will be offered by the teacher accordingly. Taught by professional yoga instructor Gayle Kuipers. Please bring a mat and a water bottle!

A Book in Common: Author Heather Sellers
Discussion and Writing Workshop
Author Heather Sellers will discuss her work as an author and share her story that led her to write the book entitled You Don't Look Like Anyone I Know. Following her talk, there will a book signing and a brief break for lunch (provided). Heather will lead a 2-hour writing workshop on the topic of writing your story.
