First Annual Watoto (children's) Festival!
 Jaramogi Abebe Agyeman Centennial Celebration!
 
Children's Festival
Honoring the centennial birthday and legacy of our founder Jaramogi Abebe Agyeman (the late Bishop Albert B. Cleage) we are hosting a full day of special activities for children ages 2-18. This event is free and open to the public.  
 Saturday October 15th 11:00 am-7:00pm

Featuring:
Storytelling, Arts & Crafts, Face Painting, Chess Games, A Comic Arts Workshop & a Teen Poetry Slam!

           EVENT ACTIVITIES SCHEDULE:
Storyteller
Storytelling Sessions 11:15, 12:15, 2:15, & 3:15

Make & Take Art Projects-12 noon-1:00pm
                             Arts and crafts
Face Painting-1:00 pm-3:00 pm
                           
Chess Games 12 noon-3:00 pm

Motor City Comics Workshop 4-6pm
                           
                            open mike 4    
                               
Teen Poetry Slam- 5:00-7:00pm  
(all poets must register no later than 4:00pm to compete)
