| Jaramogi Abebe Agyeman Centennial Celebration!  Honoring the centennial birthday and legacy of our founder Jaramogi Abebe Agyeman (the late Bishop Albert B. Cleage) we are hosting a full day of special activities for children ages 2-18. This event is free and open to the public.

Featuring:Storytelling, Arts & Crafts, Face Painting, Chess Games, A Comic Arts Workshop & a Teen Poetry Slam!
EVENT ACTIVITIES SCHEDULE: Storytelling Sessions 11:15, 12:15, 2:15, & 3:15
Make & Take Art Projects-12 noon-1:00pm
Face Painting-1:00 pm-3:00 pm
Chess Games 12 noon-3:00 pm
Motor City Comics Workshop 4-6pm
Teen Poetry Slam- 5:00-7:00pm (all poets must register no later than 4:00pm to compete)
