Ruined poster A Powerful  Story of  Courage, and  Strength

The rain forest bar and brothel  of Mama Nadi both protects  and profits from the women  whose bodies have become a  battlefield between the  government soldiers and rebels  alike. Lynn Nottage's searing  play takes us in the lives of a  group of women surviving a  civil war in the Democratic  Republic of Congo. Sincere,  passionate, courageous and  acutely written, this is a  powerhouse drama set in the  real world.

RUINED is a beautiful story  about the human spirit, that  will bring you to tears, not out  of pity for the characters, but  out of admiration for their  strength.

Audiences from New York, Philadelphia and Washington DC have praised  this high energy hit! THE WASHINGTON POST said "Lynn Nottage's Pulitzer-winning drama,...achieves a shattering intensity." THE NEW YORK TIMES said RUINED is "searing and passionate!! Not to be missed."

Playing Thursday through Saturdays at 8:00 PM and Sundays at 3:00 PM through March 11th, TICKETS range from only $27.50 and $32.00. Group and Senior rates are also available. Call 313.593.0926. To learn more and get tickets click here.
