The project celebrates the early surveyors and history of Michigan's baseline (8 Mile Road) with a series of ten foot tall granite obelisk markers. Novi's obelisk was created in cooperation with the Novi Historical Commission and several other organizations and individuals, with significant funding support from the Americana Foundation. |
