Spelling for Charity @ the Southfield Public Library
Join the fun and participate in the 5th Annual Southfield Public Library Spell Bowl on Thursday, March 22nd. This event will be held at 7 p.m. in the Library Meeting Room.
Reserve your team's spot and receive a spelling list and informational packet beginning Tuesday, January 17th. Your tax deductible team registration fee of $40 goes directly to the Southfield Veterans' Commission, to assist our local veterans and their families. Pick up the registration form at the Library. Each team consists of 4 – 6 family members, friends, coworkers, church or club members, adult-led students, etc. Teammates work together to come up with the correct spelling of a word and write it down in 30 seconds or less. Excitement builds as teams compete to become the spelling champs! Choose to learn the entire spelling list or divvy up the words to lighten the load.
