Filming Locations Needed

Help the West Michigan Film Office find these location and jobs and films to follow......

The state is looking for house that is isolated, structurally sound, vacant, but able to be burned for the big end of the film. This could be an old farmhouse that someone wants gone, a cabin that is being demolished for a new build, or perhaps a foreclosed rural property.

Shoot Date: late Summer/Fall 2012
Shoot Length: 30 Days (6 5-day weeks)
--Structurally sound yet vacant and or abandoned.
--A big, neglected HOUSE, near-mansion or mansion, at least 2 stories tall, described in film script as "SCARY – OLD big and intimidating and somewhat shabby." (In the film's story no one's lived in the HOUSE since the late 1970s or early 1980s.)
Much WOODS/FOREST (at least 40 yards' worth) in front of the HOUSE (on the sides also is preferable).
Front lawn in needed or permission to clear area in front of HOUSE and install one. (In the film a house "Caretaker" does live on/maintain the HOUSE grounds, hence the front lawn.)
--Able to BURN DOWN structure at end of filming

Please send pictures or addresses for follow up.
Looking for a large estate with an outdoor or indoor pool for a 4 day shoot this summer.  The house needs to be in affluent neighborhood somewhere in Grand Rapids.

Grand Valley State University Summer Film Program is seeking a private residence (home) location to shoot in late July (exact dates TBD) approximately 3-4 days. This home is to feature in our short film scheduled for limited theatrical release som in 2013.
No requirements/restrictions except property's location is somewhere near Allendale/Grand Rapids area. This is an on-going student film project so a donated site is appreciated, however, a modest rental fee, is negotiable.

Help out a local film maker.....and be published!

Hello friends!

My film Deadrise (aka Fitful) starring Renee O'Connor and Larry Joe Campbell is in the hands of excellent distributors in Los Angeles, and they just asked if I could drum up some support for the film on the IMDB website.
I don't usually ask for this kind of thing, but the way the marketing world is these days, the buyers worldwide look at this kind of data. So, if you saw the film, and feel like offering your opinion, hopefully positive, then please do!!!
