Fortunately, he inherits an experienced but quirky staff that helps Benjamin and his family reinvent their lives in new and surprising ways. JUNE 25—SHERLOCK HOLMES: A GAME OF SHADOWS (2011) - Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law reprise their roles as Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson, this time pitting their skills against the equally brilliant Professor James Moriarty. A series of seemingly unconnected world events leads Holmes to discern a deliberate web of death and destruction, leading him and Watson out of London to France, Germany and finally Switzerland in pursuit of the cunning Moriarty. CELEBRATING THE 30TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE SUMMER OF 1982
1982 was a banner year for summer movies. AUGUST 13—BLADE RUNNER (1982) - In a bleak, futuristic Los Angeles, a team of deadly cyborg Replicants escapes and the only one who can track them down is Deckard (Harrison Ford), a "blade runner" whose job is to permanently "retire" them.
