FUNDING: Grants for Arts Writers via @thecreatedaily

Today's Opportunity Grants for Arts Writers The Creative Capital | Warhol Foundation Arts Writers Grant Program provides grants directly to individual writers whose work addresses contemporary visual art. The grant program is spearheaded by the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts as part of its broader Arts Writing Initiative and is administered by Creative Capital.   The program, which issues awards for articles, blogs, books, new and alternative media, and short-form writing, aims to support the broad spectrum of writing on contemporary visual art, from general-audience criticism to academic scholarship.   The program supports approximately twenty to twenty-five projects each year. Grants range from $3,000 to $50,000, depending on the needs and scope of the project.
