New Blooms for Novi Celebrate the Centennial Celebration of the Gift of Trees May 12-18. The City of Novi, along with the Library and Novi Community Schools, is offering a variety of cherry tree-inspired activities for all ages. Drop by the Library on May 17 from 4-8pm to create Japanese crafts and haiku. Learn More. |
New Read-Along Database Checkout our newest database, available through the Library website. Tumblereadables is an online collection of read-along titles for elementary, middle school, and high school students which features adjustable online text and complete audio narration. Great for emergent, reluctant, or ESL readers! |
Summer Reading Programs ...for youth, teens, and adults start June 18 and run through August 4. Track your time reading and visit the Library to collect prizes, check out books, and attend super programs! Youth and teens completing the Summer Reading Games are invited to parties at Paradise Park featruring free games, laser tag, and food. Applications now being accepted for teen volunteers. |
Mark Your Calendar! The Novi Farmers' Market opens on Saturday, June 9th at Fuerst Park (enter off of Taft Rd.) and will be open every Saturday from 9am until 2pm. Scrapbook for a Cause: August 4, 9am-Midnight Back by popular demand - The Library is hosting 15 hours of scrapbooking fun with Creative Memories consultant, Mary Gantt. Enjoy lunch, dinner, refreshments, snacks, door prizes, and demonstrations.
